Crookedwood GAA is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This notice explains how personal information submitted through the Crookedwood fundraising website is used.
1. Information we collect
When you enter a fundraiser we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, campaign and ticket selection, order and payment references, allocated ticket numbers, and records of your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Crookedwood GAA does not receive or store your full payment-card number. We retain payment identifiers, status and transaction information needed to confirm and reconcile an order.
3. How we use information
- to process fundraising entries and allocate ticket numbers;
- to send confirmations and important information about the fundraiser;
- to administer draws, contact winners and resolve queries;
- to reconcile payments, refunds and financial records;
- to prevent fraud, protect the service and maintain an audit trail; and
- to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Service providers
We use service providers to operate the fundraising website and process payments, including Cloudflare for website/application infrastructure and Stripe for payment processing. Information is shared only as necessary to provide those services and administer the fundraiser.
5. Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Retention
Personal information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the fundraiser, maintain financial and audit records, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable Irish and EU data-protection law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing.
8. Other websites
Links to third-party services are subject to those providers' own privacy policies. Stripe's checkout service is governed by Stripe's applicable privacy information.
9. Changes
Changes to this Privacy Policy will be published on this page. The policy version accepted during checkout is recorded with the order.
